If you live in North America then The Hunger Games releases in a few hours, I do not live in North America. I envy you people and you're midnight premiers, but no matter, Reeshe, Kitten, and I along with my siblings will be seeing the movie tomorrow first thing after work. So starting from dawn tomorrow until 6:30pm I will be avoiding anything Hunger Games fandom related because I refuse to be spoiled or influenced more than I already have been.
Are you going to a midnight premier? What scene from the book are you hoping to see the most? What changes (characters, scenes, lines etc.) from the book could you live with?
Awww man, I totally wish I could be waiting in line for a midnight screening as we speak. But alas, it'll be at least another week before I'll have the chance to watch the film. But the reviews are so great, and the trailers have been amazing.
ReplyDeleteHave fun watching the movie tomorrow!!!
The reviews I came across yesterday have all been positive, it makes me nervous because it gets my hopes up and I don't want my hopes too high because then I might be disappointed when I see the movie. Hopefully that won't be the case when I see it tonight. Sorry you have to wait until next week to see it but I wish you lots of fun too when you do see it ^_^.
DeleteI really loved this movie! Having not actually read the books, I totally enjoyed watching Reeshe and Sandy agonize, in anticipation of its release. Watching the amazement spread across their faces, while we all gripped our armrests, as this movie exploded with action and tears coming to our eyes as the characters came to life.
ReplyDeleteStill I am told there are some things from the book which should have been included to make it better, and the ending was off. So compared to the books they gave it 3/5, but as a stand alone movie 4.5; loosing some points for the extended shaking of the cameras. Awesome movie!!! :-)
